Terms & Conditions

Last updated: 26 October 2026

1. Acceptance of Terms

Oak AIDIA is operated by Journey Tendency Lda, registered at Praceta do Castelo, Pavilhão C6, 4705-629 Sequeira, Braga, Portugal, with Tax ID (NIF) 510412467. By accessing or using Oak AIDIA ("the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.

2. Description of Service

Oak AIDIA is an AI-powered investment platform that connects to your etoro account (via etoro Single Sign-On) to provide market intelligence, instrument analysis, price forecasts, portfolio insights, trader performance scorecards, and conversations with AI agents (fundamental, technical, portfolio, and writer agents).

3. Not Financial Advice

All content generated by Oak AIDIA, including AI agent commentary, price forecasts, screener results, sentiment data, and performance scores, is provided for informational purposes only and does not constitute financial, investment, legal, or tax advice. Trading and investing involve risk, including the risk of loss of capital. You are solely responsible for your investment decisions and should consult a licensed financial advisor before acting on any information provided by the Platform.

Oak AIDIA's AI agents are purely informative. They describe data, indicators and balanced scenarios with their uncertainties, but do not give personalised recommendations, explicit or implicit, to buy, sell, hold, reduce, reinforce or set a stop-loss on your positions. Indicators and price levels shown are technical reference points and do not, on their own, determine what you should do with a position. Where data is missing or uncertain, the agents are instructed to say so. These safeguards are designed to reduce risk but do not guarantee that every AI-generated response will be free from error or from wording that could be read as advice.

4. Risk Profile (MiFID II)

To use the Platform you must complete a risk profile questionnaire, which classifies your risk profile and must be renewed when it expires. Your profile sets limits applied to the AI agents and automated features (such as maximum volatility, position size, leverage, and whether derivatives, short selling or intraday trading are considered). You may update your profile at any time, with a limited number of attempts per day. If your profile changes significantly, or your portfolio becomes inconsistent with it, features that are incompatible may be paused and you will be notified. Any transaction outside your profile must be carried out by you manually, and you accept the associated Risk Mismatch Waiver and risk. You must provide accurate answers; the Platform relies on them and is not responsible for outcomes resulting from inaccurate information. Assessment, changes and mismatch events are recorded in an audit log.

5. Account & Eligibility

You must be of legal age and hold a valid etoro account to use the Platform. You are responsible for all activity that occurs through your authenticated session.

6. Subscriptions, Credits & Payments

Oak AIDIA offers Free, Standard, and Advanced subscription plans, billed monthly or annually through Stripe. Paid plans include a monthly allowance of Oak Credits, used to access certain AI-powered features. Subscription fees are billed in advance and are non-refundable except where required by law. You can upgrade, downgrade, or cancel your plan at any time from the Subscription page; changes take effect at the end of your current billing period unless stated otherwise.

Subscriptions and Renewal

Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period (monthly or annual) until you cancel. Annual billing includes a 15% discount. You can cancel at any time on the Subscription page; access continues until the end of the current paid period.

Credits

Monthly subscription credits are valid only for the current billing period. Unused subscription credits do not carry over to the next period.

Credits bought in credit packs do not expire and remain in your account until used.

Credits have no monetary value, cannot be exchanged for cash, and cannot be transferred to other users.

Right of Withdrawal

Subscriptions and credit packs give you immediate access to digital services and content. By completing your purchase, you expressly request immediate access and acknowledge that you lose your 14-day right of withdrawal once access starts, in accordance with Portuguese Decree-Law 24/2014 and EU Directive 2011/83/EU.

7. No Guarantee of Results

Past performance, backtests, AI-generated forecasts, and trader scorecards are not indicative of future results. We make no guarantee regarding the accuracy, completeness, or profitability of any analysis, signal, score, or information provided by the Platform.

8. Third-Party Services

The Platform integrates with third-party services, including etoro (authentication and trading data) and Stripe (payments), as well as market and sentiment data providers. We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or performance of these third-party services.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Oak AIDIA and its affiliates shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including financial losses, arising from your use of the Platform or reliance on any AI-generated or market-related information provided through it.

10. Account Termination & Deletion

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Platform for violation of these Terms. You may request deletion of your Oak AIDIA account at any time from your Profile page. Your subscription is cancelled immediately and your data is permanently deleted after a 30-day grace period; this does not affect your etoro account.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. Continued use of the Platform after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
